TOP RONNIE TO ACTUALLY SHOW UP

FNU Grand Wizard Jim Vail will be stopping by MUSIC FOR YOUR METHLAB this week to slip a good 15-17 hits into your Cheerio hour. For a little background, Jimbo's been recording 4-track Burzum-cum-DEVO wonders at undisclosed locations in America for years now. As of late, a handful of these little drum-machine nightmares have been rolled into full-on power trio numbers by way of PHL's reputed ball of frustration - FNU RONNIES. Hardly a virgin to the lo-fi/noise game, Jim's geetar chops predate the Sega Genesis. A hallmark of the FNU sound - it rips/lurks/shivs with a deep chemical imbalance while flakier flavors of the week just rub one off and go get brunch. Either way, "Street Kyle" of FNU ilk bailed on the METHLAB a few weeks back due to a bad rash, so call it a 50/50 shot that our hero arrives before 9. I hear that shit's like pink eye.
