Louie Louie is an all female garage pop band based in Philadelphia. Their music relies heavily on their love of 60’s rock ‘n’ roll with lots of harmonies and incautiously emotive songwriting. So far, they’ve self-released one single entitled “Out In the Streets” with “Miles Around” as the B side. It was released as a limited run cassette which has since sold out. But fear not! The single will be released on vinyl early this spring via Hidden Volume Records (Baltimore)!
Keep your ears & eyes peeled for the record release and tune in on Sunday, March 6, between 8 -9 pm to hear them play these and other rad tunes live at 91.7 fm WKDU!!
