GOLD formed in mid/late 2008 when the New Jersey band Alamance decided to split ways because of personal reasons/musical differences after a summer on the Vans Warped Tour. Three of its members (Erick, Mike & Bobby) along with some old friends (Aaron & Justin) decided to form a new band for the fun of making heavier/more experimental music, and sharing it with whoever cares enough to listen.
Were not out to try and say we have created "our own genre", be the next big thing, or shove our music in your face and make you listen. If you like it, we truly appreciate it. if you don't, that's cool. this is purely for fun...
GOLD's debut full length album "We Are Wandering" released online on June 8th, 2009.
