In this set recorded at WKDU on 12/3/2011, Art DiFuria and his favorite guitar play some quieter numbers. DiFuria, the driving force behind the Photon Band, returns to some old songs and premiers some never-before-heard tunes. He has always reserved a spot or two for more sparsely arranged solo tracks to offset the cacophony and orchestration on each of the band's six full-length releases-- and over the years, he has never been shy about playing out as a solo act. But this broadcast is the first time we'll hear such a complete performance of solo works. This set sees DiFuria reinterpreting an old stand-by like "Saturn Returns (Again)" from 2000's "Oh the Sweet Sweet Changes," while offering new songs like "Broken Mandolin," which comes close to being free form poetry set to music.
